Our strong and handsome Simmental cattle have a very gentle nature
and are easy to handle. We've found them to calve easily and be very good mothers
too.
We bought our first three
Simmental cows from the Whitemire herd at Duns and our first
bull, from the local pedigree herd at
Fishwick Mains. 'Fishwick Marksman'
Then in February 2005, at the sale in
Perth, we were very pleased to acquire our stock bull, 'Ashland
Perfect' for 8,200 guineas.
Pictured on the right are the
twin calves he sired for us, 'Manor Park Tina' and
'Manor Park Tanith' born in the Spring of 2006 and
reared with ease.
In 2008 we moved to The Dods at
Lauder and the family and livestock have all settled well into
our new home.
